YOUTHS IN BAMENDA SHOULD EFFECT DEVELOPMENT IN THEIR COMMUNITIES

Youths in Bamenda town have been drilled on self discovery and self transformation today December 11th 2021.

  A leadership boot camp  which was aimed at helping the youths I Bamenda to understand the power of positive thinking, organized by  Dreams To Reality organization (D2R), under the team; knowing the real you in you. An event which saw presentations in on; discovering, maximizing and fulfilling Gods purpose in your life,  leveraging on effective Leadership to elevate personal productivity and enhancing personal productivity through effective public speaking.

   The executive Director of D2R. Amb. Abdul Aziz. A have revealed that he was inspired to bring the transformational boot camp to bamenda for the youths because he feels young people do not take responsibilities." We are in a fast growing Economy where collective action is highly recommended. I was also taking into consideration that young people are future leaders, so I wanted them to understand and be able to execute the leadership qualities in them, I want them to begin with developing themselves so that they can develop their communities."

   One of the many participants, Micheal Atibuaghesamo says, The event have given him another chance to change the narratives. He said," it was  very very impactful , my mindset about leadership was just about getting information and talking to people but today I have learned that rather than just being a leader, I should be that transformational leader  that will effect a positive change in my communities."

    The transformational event which lasted for 6hours with 63 participants was remarkable as these participants were equally determine to develop the reading culture in them as they are made to understand that  reading, and research is the best way for one's development.
